Gathering Minigames

The three foraging games are the primary means by which you can gain ingredients for the crafting minigames. These use the Discord tatsu bot commands. There is no "leveling" system, just very straight forward command input and result. However, if you don't like the result you get, there are special circumstances that may allow you to try again.

In general, you are given ten tries at each game and will walk away with a variety of items that are yours to either add to your inventory, trade to another player or sell to a player or shop. Most would be sold for gil.

Foraging provides items that can either be sold as-is or used in other minigames such as Alchemy, Cooking, and Fiber Crafts. A small number of items can also be used in Gardening. Again, you can input this into the minigame channel ten times, and walk away with ten items.

Once you’ve acquired plants either in the Foraging minigame, or from the gil shop, you can start growing your own! You can grow up to 10 items during a check; due to the flexible nature of “in game” time, it’s a two-check process. You plant in one, harvest in the next. Each item will give you three items back, so you can replant one and still have a profit of two. There are no Tatsu rolls required, but each plant must be replanted after harvesting.

Mining is one of the gathering minigames, providing items that can either be sold as-is or used in other minigames such as Smithing and Alchemy.

There are two mines - Northern Mine (containing ore, coal and sand) and the Southern Mine (containing precious stones and elemental crystals) - and you may mine in ONE of them per check, 10 rolls with a potential for up to two rerolls if you use a Scroll of Stamina.
